To block off the thermostat housing, a perfectly fitting o-ringed plug is inserted, then retained by a bracket that installs with a single bolt. On the head, a Cylinder Head Heater Pipe Plug is used to eliminate the pipe for the heating system.
Eliminating heater hoses will dramatically clean up the engine bay and remove lines that heat the intake manifold. Not to mention, there’s a heap of weight-savings to be had by removing the factory interior heating components.
